Early Summer 2005

The demolition started on the outbuildings in early May 2005 and progressed well. There were some initial concerns that the underlying chalk would be soft and that additional foundations would be needed or that a spring would be discovered.

Unfortunately, the end wall is not stable. Originally protected by a barn, which collapsed c.1940 and then the garage. Once demolished it became apparent work would be required here.
